Hello class!!!!!!
I'm very much interested to share about Some and Any because for all this time, I've found that not all persons understand about it.
Some/Any followed by Uncountable Nouns means "sedikit".
eg. some water
some milk
some oil
any rice
any money
any coffee
SOME is usually used in positive sentences, while ANY is used in negative and interrogative sentences.
(+) I have some money.
(-) I don't have any money.
(?) Do I have any money?
Some/Any followed by Countable Nouns means "beberapa".
eg. some people
some books
any tables
any pens
We usually use SOME when we offer or ask for something.
For example:
1. Would you like to drink some coffee?
(maukah Anda minum kopi?)
2. Could you give me some water?
(bisakah Anda memberi saya air?)
